My Altar

Here's a quick video to show you my altar. I've been collecting bits for it for a long time. I like what i have done with it.
The altar pentacle and candle sticks are from 'Epona' In Leominster. The cauldron, i brought from Harvest Moon in stourbridge. The incense burners were gifts apart from the gold one at the back which i brought from amazon for 99p! Can't argue with that!

I enjoy the simplicity of your altar. Some altars are so crowded with all kinds of objects that I wonder how a person can perform a ritual without knocking everything about. Yours is lovely and tranquil while still conveying power and effectiveness.

Beautiful. I love the idea of having a candle for each element. I also love your faerie statues.

And don't worry, I don't have an alter-cloth either. I had only heard of the concept when you mentioned it. And my alter is on top of my dresser, and a coffee-table's definitely better than that. :P :)

@xGoddessxWitchx Thank you very much! An altar cloth is used to protect it physically and when charged, magickally too. You can pick colours assoiated with the season/sabbats or pick a colour based on it's energetic qualities. Magickal symbols also help in protecting and charging your altar. xxx

@72jenhen Unfortunately, that was a lucky find at a second hand shop. They're great places to find an array of unusual things. Also you may want to try ebay, you can get some very interesting pieces there.

Oh it is lovely!!! I love all the glass /crystal pieces...quite feminine and very appealing!
