Symptoms of primary hyperthyroidism=Bones(bone pain and pathologic fractures from osteopenia), stones(renal/kidney stones), abdominal groans(anorexia, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, peptic ulcer disease, acute pancreatitis)and psychic moans(-confusion, depression, dementia,inability to concentrate and memory problems).

Sestamibi scan localize adenoma, assess its relation to the weight of gland and determine what surgery is needed in symptomatic patients.

OMG who is teaching this about HPTH...obviously someone who has never had the disease.
If you wait to remove the adenoma, you are causing damage to the bones and kidneys even in unsymptomatic pts. SCREW the MEDS...does NOTHING but make your tests look good
NOw... I NEVER had constipation, it was IBS ...and diagnosed w/ Fibromyalgia, chron. fatigue, depression...etc, etc. and etc.
MY PTH was NEVER checked!! Lives are being ruined by the way you are going about this treatment plan..
