I don't think this kitty is half witted at all. She wants to perch higher up, that's all,,and she is smart enoughto want her cushion with her to do it. There was no level place for her to perch higher up, that would take her cushion. She was smart enough to get the pillow out without face planting, and her reasoning is sound. You may be the halfwit here, bucko!

That is the SMARTEST cat I've ever seen: He wanted to sit up as high as he could get (ie, the top of the uppermost basket), but there's nothing up there to snug up with so he's figured out that the basket mat comes out and is light enough to haul around. Then he manages to get it up there but it's impossible to lay it flat while standing exactly where the mat needs to go. So after a moment's thought back in the basket, he jumps down and brings the mat to your feet. Guess why. LOL! Marvelous!
