  • REST IN PEACE

  • how did it burn. did the hay catch on fire?

  • There is still disagreement,

Please remember the most important thing:

IN A BARN FIRE YOU PUT OUT THE HORSES NOT THE FIRE

Thank you Jose, Mr Holt & the others who ran to the barn & got the horses out & kept them from running back in.

Thanks to all the horse people who helped for the weeks after with donations and the emotional support. Especially JLF of LEF. Special thanks to Jorge Quiroga Channel 5 Boston for being so professional and compassion in covering the story.

  • what happened to Yukon?

  • I don't know but he did survive.

  • was there a horse named savannah there? also i think that one of the ponies got hit by a car i think it was bubba

  • Bubba was put down after being hit by a car on RT1 when someone let the 4 lesson ponies loose in the middle of the night Sept 2003. Esco wasbrought in to take his place in the lesson program. I heard of a horse called Savannah but she wasn't there then.

  • for anyone asking about savanna she was sold to a good family and had moved to a new home 8 months befor the fire

  • I rode there for years when Jamal was there. I was one of his working students and I remember so well; part of our job was to ride the ponies before the pony parties. We would all get on them bareback and bomb around the ring, falling off and laughing. Bubba was such a little brat. LOL. I remember so much there. My heart goes out to the owners of the horses that died and also to the Wards. -Kelana

  • A day I'll never ever forget.

  • Thanks for honoring the horses who died, and the good people who helped. You have a good heart. I am glad the Q did so well. Do all horse owners teach the go and come commands as you taught him?

  • I rode there in my early teens and then began volunteering just to spend time with the horses. Randy Ward taught my mother and I. I spent 7 days a week there from 7 AM to 7 PM during two summers. Aramis was my baby but I adored the ponies too. Especially Bubba. I was so depressed when he died. But losing the barn and those three horses was so tragic too. I drove by it while it was burning and it broke my heart. Some of my best memories are from there.
