  • At 2:11 what are those 4 rails on the same track? Is that so wide loads can get by the platform?

  • @slashmaster2 Yes, its known in railroading as a Gauntlet Track. Basically it just allows more clearance in tight areas. 

  • It has a new haven whistle. It's even stamped NYNH&H

  • Maybe it's the video, but that whistle doesn't sound right to me

  • @TCRStaff VALE 40 and 97 feature 48" drivers, 3025 has 54"

  • @Weiberts The station is in Old Saybrook CT along the north east corridor. I go in and out of that station everyday!!, and most of the running takes place in the CT River Valley.

  • @Rtchugg Bigger than the mikado on the valley already and its the same size as chinese 142 on the bel del
