Jake was one of the BEST talkers ever!!!..He always said if you want to get noticed, speak softly....and if you ever notice he rarely ever raised his voice when he did promos, which always IMO made them sound much more sinister

Where is that promo where Jake had the whited out eye? I thought that he got it as a result of Rick Martel's arrogance spray? God that was a freaky promo to me when I was a kid.

One of the best talkers of all-time. He really knew how to get over and was possibly the most over wrestler never to win a WWF Belt (most of them at least got the Tag Belts once!). He was so good that his late 80's feud with Hulk Hogan was cut short becuase too many people in the audience were cheering for Roberts. If that doesn't tell you how over this guy was, I don't know what else could.

Jake is so damn intense, even as a 6 year old I favored him over Macho Man(another favorite) in their 1992 feud. He came off as so real, flawed, yet intimidating as a psychological assassin. Its very likely this attitude that impressed many others, as evident by the high view count on this video. So calm and collected, but could snap your neck with the DDT at anytime HE choose. Today's wrestling talent should be required to watch all of Jake's interviews, and take as many notes as possible.
