Holy shit! ...Kind of makes me wish I was born during these times so I can watch these promos firsthand..live. Roberts was a beast.

I'm gonna be honest.. I had to look up "averice". "Wallowing in the much of averice' is an awesome phrase.

Jake was a great face because he still had that creepy, sneaky, cold demeanor of Jake the Snake. But as a heel? Phew...top 10 of all time, easily.

so good to so many fans of Jake the Snake, I wonder why it takes so long for wrestlers to be in the HOF, and indeed I agree with LTDANMAN44 it should be about talent and contribution to the WWF not your personal conditions,

@LTDANMAN44 He certainly didn't have the best pops in the business, but I agree - Jake was incredible. He's the best wrestler to never hold a title in the WWF or WCW, and I hope someday he will get into the Hall of Fame.
