@mrreviews1995 thats just the way he talks or presents his opinions, you cant knock somebody for being who they are, if he didn't have passion about what he does he wouldnt be on here week after week putting up video's and dealing with some of the jackasses here on youtube!

@ralphmmitchell I like some of the earlier ones, but I grew up watching the late night movies . So Stuff like "How the west was won", "Fort Apache" , "Spencers mountain" come to mind. 12 Angry men was THE big role for him but he was good in everything IMO, even the lessor roles.

@mduering81 I'm a fan of Samsung LED Smart TV's , so I have the 46 inch one from this year. Lots of people like them bigger, and I used to have a BIG screen of the old style TV a few years ago, and it hogged up the whole room. Since I didn't want that again and I hate wall mounts . I went with the 46. Great Picture though IMO. Stuff other people complain looks bad, to me usually looks decent . I watch pretty much all HD now though or upconverted DVDs.

@JDD67 Talking about actors whose presence overcomes some pretty dodgy scripts... one of my friends who also loves movies got me into the Hammer films which I hadn't seen since Iwas a kid and for carrying films I'd say Peter Cushing has got to be up there as one of the best.

@ralphmmitchell He was great in the Frankenstein films . I always think of that Doctor Who movie that Cushing made and he couldn't save that one for me .

@JDD67 Much of my love for old movies was growing up seeing so many of them on TV in the 70s - I tend to collect movies by the actors in them more than anything else. I think I've got most of my Fonda ones now, still to see "Advise &Consent"? I read somewhere that he hated "Spencer's Mountain" - I've never seen it but I got the impression it was too cheesy like the Waltons certainly that would be the antithesis of his character Fank in "Once Upon A Time" :)

@ralphmmitchell I kind of hate the saying "So bad its good", but Spencers Mountain is kind of like that . I do think the Waltons was based on it . I liked the Waltons though, as a story , its better then Spencers Mountain but I just liked watching Fonda work around what IMO was some crazy writing .
