Thanks RoseBudFan! The backgrounds and characters were done in Photoshop, with each part of the characters to be animated separated onto their own layers. Each animated clip was created separately in Adobe Flash, the first time that I had used it and learning as I was going along (very pleased with how it came out!) And then I imported all the animations into Final Cut to edit the music video in a similar way to how I would do for one using normal camera footage

As for copyright, it might be sailing a bit close to the wind but I think of it as being "in the style of" as there's no characters or anything else in there taken straight from South Park. Anyway with the leader being legitimately or otherwise on over 65,000 views I don't think I'm in with much of a chance of winning, but am just happy to have created something that I'm proud of, that people like, and that has done a little bit to promote the song :)
