very true....when my pops told me what had gone down i was in total shock...i though the redsox had them in a bag and i was hoping we would at least get Manny ( even though i hate him...him at DH wouldnt be that bad the way he we hit last year)...
i live in Atlanta now and mark was a monster down here and def. grew into a fan favorite quickly becuase of the way he played....he will def. get love from all Yankee Fans...
hopefully this years free agents dont have the curse like the past ones

Its a great day to be a Yankee fan. The Yankees played it right. They played Possum, they waited and looked at all offers then bid a little more then the highest bidder.
