Maine Arts Commission Public Art Lecture Series

In 2009, the Maine Arts Commission celebrates 30 successful years of administering the Percent of Arts process for the state of Maine. To mark this anniversary, five Maine arts organizations were funded by the Maine Arts Commission to present lectures by national and international experts who make significant contributions to our notions of public art.

Artists featured in this lecture series are, Amy Hausmann (NYC Arts for Transit), Jean Shin, Patricia Phillips, Sue Clifford (Common Ground), Amy Franceschini (Futurefarmers), Swoon, and Liz Lerman (Liz Lermans Dance Exchange).
