I'm moving to Sarasota with my family and we are bringing our 3' diameter new years ball, it can produce 16.7 million colors and even more color patterns. It's all computer DMX controlled, and as we make the new years countdowns, we will be set for our ball drop to ring in 2012, we are currently working on the countdowns. The ball will be hopefully bigger and brighter for 2012, plumping it up to 6' in diameter and breaks down into 3 parts. We tested it last year with great applaud. Can't wait.
