After grabbing the last few remaining power-ups, Samus decides she is finally ready to go into the deepest part of the enemy's lair on Zebes... Tourain!

Within this tiny tiny realm she finds many an unpleasant surprise... Many, MANY an unpleasant surprise.

(If any of the power-ups you're missing wasn't in these past three videos they're probably within a video where I first enter the area of Zebes where the power-up would be located. This especially true for missile packs that like to hide in walls.)

Enjoy!~

  • That was the fist time you saved, lol.

  • Yeah. XD I wanted to stop by my ship to recharge my weapons and energy... so I figured I may as well save at least once while I'm in the area. XD

  • @CastlePokemetroid Probably not. Your movement is normally frozen during the cutscene part, as Samus is panting, weak from damage. There is a glitch where you can trick the game into letting you keep moving by un-equipping and re-equipping the Varia Suit at the right times, causing the game to think you can't take another hit when you actually can or something like that, but even doing that, nothing you do will change the outcome, as it's scripted to happen a certain way.

  • @EarthPhantomTS Will it work during the fight against mother brain? Would that glitch out the story sequence thing?

  • @CastlePokemetroid Well, they could be useful against bosses if you...

    *SPOILERS*

Use the un-documented "Crystal Flash" ability which restores all energy when you have 49 or less by consuming 10 Missiles, 10 Super Missiles, and 11 Power Bombs. If you have all that, morph, select Power Bombs, and lay one down while holding L, R, "Fire" and down on the directional pad. Samus will then absorb the Power Bomb's explosion, lose 10 Missiles, Super Missiles, and Power Bombs, and fully heal.

  • @PinkKittyRose I can't believe that the metroid finds out who you are at 1 energy, gets up squeaks a bit then flies of squeaking away with your energy. But I kind of like the metroids's squeaking.

  • What's the point of having 50 power bombs? Sure, you need a few of them for blocks and doors, but are they actually useful in boss battles?

  • Yea that part is a pain with super bombs...

  • @PinkKittyRose Great job doing a 100% speedrun through one of my favorite games of all time. Thanks, Rose.
