I have walked 'cross the sands, on the Grand Banks of Newfoundland
Laughed at a Newfie, and beat up a seal
I went shopping in Halifax, bought some all-weather slacks
And watched while the premiers played Let's Make A Deal

Then I went to Quebec, where the English get no respect
They stay in their houses, packing their things
So I went to Ontario, got quite a scare, you know
Discovering the danger a steam bath can bring

Outside a bakery in Edmonton, I suffered with frozen buns
Vancouver sunshine soaked all my clothes
Got a room in Thunder Bay, and bored in Winnipeg
Went to Saskatchewan, but it was closed

From the Vancouver Island to the Alberta highland
'Cross the Prairies, the Lakes, to Ontario's towers -- and K-Mart!
From the sound of Mount Royal's chimes, out to the Maritimes
Something to bitch about, this land of ours

Yes there's something to bitch about, tingle and twitch about
Join in revolt, or quietly stew
Inflation and acid rain, why don't we all complain
Take time to crab about what's bugging you

From the Vancouver Island to the Alberta highland
We're all whining and complaining and demanding our fair share
The government would surely fall, if it tried to please us all
So it's a good thing they don't care!

Interesting that they start in Newfoundland, then go to Nova Scotia - then to Quebec! What happened to New Brunswick & PEI - the only 2 provinces not mentioned. Bloody typical!
