  • The evo is not as defined as the subaru. Its got a big turbo 2.0l rated for 60,000miles in it pushing way too much boost for that little engine when considering engine longevity. The cast iron horizontaly mounted engine creates a lot of counter-balance. The AWD system is strictly tuned for pavement even though they claim grip on slippery surface. Many tests show the STi to have much more "TruE Grip". That means Traction to loose surface ratio

  • It's not fair to compare the US spec Evos and STis against each other for rally usage. The US Evo is missing many important parts of its AWD system, and the STi doesn't even qualify as a rally car..its engine is too big. And if we're talking Rally, Citroen makes the best AWD car ever....right now. Technology is always changing.

  • lol thats crazy you gus were at roling acers mall.. my car was stuck in the show that week haha

  • Holy Crap!!! I can't believe someone recognized the location! That's hysterical!

  • As far as I am concerned the new EVO X will own this market, now that Subie ruined the STi by making it a hatch. At least now with all of the STi fans now buying the EVO X it will help save the Mitsubishi firm.

  • I've got to agree with you there...the new STi looks like a GTI. I bet it will be a rocket though since it can't weigh anything at all....but can you imagine the weight distrubution?!?! 75/25??

  • @billiardball001 with that car is much more fun to do that "driving for skill" thing ?

  • @naigamon @naigamon there IS a difference between driving for skill and driving for fun...these guys were doing it for fun....same reason everyone does burnouts. It shows no skill but is fun todo.

  • Check out my STi home videos if you want to see an 05 STi in stock form doing 'ALOT' more than this evo. This guy can't drive...

  • @naigamon I wouldn't say any car is made for spinning around in parking lots full of snow. But I'm sure it's fun regardless. Lay off

  • All this Evo Vs STi talk...everywhere! Take it from me since I own one of each.....go with the Evo on the pavement. Go with the STi for gravel. Otherwise, they are two different manufactures take on practically the same car. Enough with the hate already fanboys....

  • fast forward FTL

  • @rallysoob 4g63t has ten times the reliability than the 2.5 in the scubies. Just saying they are strong i got my motor at 45,000 and 400whp or about 520 crank horse and its doing fine subies that run that power on stock motors usually end up with blown motors. Both are great cars but get your facts straight. Evo has better grip less understeer and subies have lower center of gravity better for rally because of the jumps you dont have as high of a center of gravity. Own the car before u talk

  • u noob.....1:09 it has been fast forwarded

  • @Shaftdpimp actually the sti is one of the most wanted car for rallying.
