"Harper doesn't control the amount of money that McGuinty decides to give us for schooling!"

The point is that Harper is allowing corporations to be subsidized when that money could go our post-secondary education. The criticism isn't taken away from McGuinty -
things can and are said on both leaders.

I was at the Drop Fees rally in Ottawa, and I heard the same garbage about the federal Conservatives.
Harper doesn't control the amount of money that McGuinty decides to give us for schooling!
If you wanna rag on anyone, rag on the provincial Liberal government, because they're the ones who're running the education budget.
Harper has some control over how much money the provinces are getting, but once it's been given out, he doesn't control it anymore.
Come on guys, let's fry the right fish.

we do rag on the provincial gov't; did u miss the 7000 students in toronto at queen's park- provincial govt says there's no money. so it's their responsibility to lobby the feds to get more money. and by the way, mcguinty's constituency office is in ottawa... last time i checked, he was the right fish.
