  • if you have the brabo of a white belt and a kneebar of a black belt of course u wouldnt waste energy trying to choke out ur oppenent not to mention he wont see it coming because hes too busy defending the choke. good vid

  • @mateah have you ever even trained grappling?

  • @willyboy if your not totally retarded this shows an option for another submission when you're going for a darce, maybe you don't get the darce and you switch to the kneebar :) understand?

  • everything that sometimes works is fine, because nothing works every single time.

  • i dont think some of you people understand the reasoning for this technique. some people do have high tolerances for chokes. it has nothing to do with neck strength or shoulder size, infact big shoulders can help you get choked out. i've seen people try to finish chokes for long periods of time tiring themselves out. this is a shocker move. the last thing someones gonna think while they,re defending a choke is that they,re gonna have to defend a kneebar next.

  • @cabso If you can't finish a Darce/Brabo choke you probably can't finish a diving kneebar. You can't have a high tolerance to chokes. Arteries don't work that way. Granted, there are some people that are harder to choke, this is due to neck strength, shoulder size, etc. If you can't finish a locked choke on someone, chances are your technique is bad. While I agree in chaining attacks, I do not believe you should let go of an extended limb or locked choke to go for something else. Bad habit.

  • @EliRatliff No he let go of a Darce/Brabo choke, as the video says.

  • I think it's a cool transition, but he moved to the kneebar after he had the Darce/Brabo locked up. Why? Why let go of a sure thing only to go for something much lower percentage that requires you to go from the finishing line back another 3 steps to get there again?

  • @mateah hahahahahahahaha
