it sounds like every one is having so much fun. I wish they did that kind of stuff here. Gardening isnt that popular where I am from.

John, do you ever set up at the farmers market? Either to sell greens or just educate gardeners?

heheheh yeah well where my brother is in queensland its warm all the time.
here it gets down to about 28 here i converted it. day times get to about 45-50's mid winter.
well at least its not like canada gee there temps are so cold.
gets dammn hot here in summer though. record was 118

wish that was at my local farmer's market!
even in my small city, there is a good one here as in farmers market. i thought california didnt get frosts??. how cold does it get in your area. its one month into autumn here and its still around 25-30.c. that makes it in the 80's.

I do get frosts. Some parts of California get little/no frosts but most of the state does get frost.. Its not all sun and beeachs as shown on TV :) I wish :) It may get down as low as 26.

do strawberry plants have a lot of produce? i always thought strawberry plants don't grow very big but it might be like raspberry plants. i really don't kno :-/

strawberry plants are not cane plants. They dont get tall. Strawberries can produce up to a pint of berries per plant. I havent had good luck in the past, but will try again this year with a new variety. I will have an episode on that soon...
