  • even in my small city, there is a good one here as in farmers market. i thought california didnt get frosts??. how cold does it get in your area. its one month into autumn here and its still around 25-30.c. that makes it in the 80's.

  • I do get frosts. Some parts of California get little/no frosts but most of the state does get frost.. Its not all sun and beeachs as shown on TV :) I wish :) It may get down as low as 26.

  • do strawberry plants have a lot of produce? i always thought strawberry plants don't grow very big but it might be like raspberry plants. i really don't kno :-/

  • strawberry plants are not cane plants. They dont get tall. Strawberries can produce up to a pint of berries per plant. I havent had good luck in the past, but will try again this year with a new variety. I will have an episode on that soon...

  • Wow. I must humble myself and say that I formerly under-appreciated you John. No longer! Thank you for the smiles, the valuable information, the feast for the eyes.

  • it sounds like every one is having so much fun. I wish they did that kind of stuff here. Gardening isnt that popular where I am from.

  • John, do you ever set up at the farmers market? Either to sell greens or just educate gardeners?
