I c a lot of MMA thugs think that Traditonal Karate is not practical. You thugs need to know you will have no eyes and balls left if you try something like take down against real Karateka. Because ,In real combat, they can rip your nose, ear and throat, kick to your supporting knee, grown so many things if you try to BJJ hug him. You see how often lowblow easily occur in MMA? Yet, the referee saves you. But against real karateka who does hundreds front kicks everyday aiming ur groin, u'd b dead

And Another thing Japanses Karate and Okinawan karate have very different pholisphies that are clearly different between them.

Not quite sure what yuo mean but its sounds like you dont really understand ? I am taking okinawan shorin-ryu karate and have a 12 year experience in karate. Now if you state that i am wrong than check an legitmate webpage or martial artists that know the correct linage of styles and were they go. Than i will say you are right.

No, man, what are you talking about? It is the most pure, traditional and ancient Karate style called Okinawa Karate. It is the mother of all modern Japanese Karate. Some of the masters' simple wrist hit will literally break your arms or legs.

Why is everyone always arguing about which is more effective. Every martial art is a mixed martial art. None of the old masters stayed completely with there style. Some were influenced by other master in Okinawa, China, etc, check history, MMA is not something new.  And if the "traditional" martial artist wanted to get in the cage he would train just as the other fighters. So as martial artist, can we end this debate, and get to one that is real, like who would win Chuck Norris or King Kong?
