Kewl, it's been one of the more friendly debates I've had with A Kobe fan. There's a guy at work, that's alllllll Kobe and everyone in our facility knows about our debates. Well, I told him if the Lakers get this one in Cleveland, and Kobe literally outplays Lebron, then I must shut up all year about Lebrons, and I have to get a kb24 jersey and wear it, which is not all bad cuz I like Kobe too.
Oh, no, I'm not saying Lebron's as clutch as Kobe, but I am saying Lebron has shown to be clutch. I don't know if you remember him against Detroit the year he went to the finals. He was extremely clutch in some of the battles with the Wizards when they had a healthy Arenas. He totally destroyed Portland one year when someone pissed him off. He hit like 4 threes, including the game winning one. He hit a clutch jumper with your boy Kobe guarding him to beat the Lakers. Kobe got his this year...
i just find it funny how you only have one series (Boston) and one clutch game (6) to define Lebrons career.
but if name Kobe's my "remaining character count" would run out.
Thats what im talking about!! When you say "Kobe's not just as all around", what does that mean??? i always read that comment but never get specifics. Ive already established that Kobe is a better scorer and defender and YOU agreed.
so lets just leave it at that. Or just reread my other posts because ive made my point.
I've admitted it myself that Lebron doesn't have Kobe, nor Wade's mentality. Kobe may be more clutch, but Cleveland wouldn't be where they are without the play of James. His talent cannot be overlooked. James was very clutch in the Boston series last year, esp in Game 6.
He'll probably get a ring with this team, but, he couldn't take Cleveland to a ring. Yes, he could outscore Lebron all day long, but as far as impact on a franchise that sucked the way Cleveland did before James, Kobe could not do. All he would do at Cleveland is average about 35 to 40ppg. Kobe's not just as all around. One thing Kobe hasn't conquered yet, which he might do this year is win a ring without O'neal, but he still got a freebee with the Memphis trade. Give Lebron a freebee, i say
Well, I've respected Kobe's game since he was at Lower Marion high school. I've watched him develope. Kobe does have Championship experience, but that does not mean Lebron is any less of a player. Lebron took a team, that had NO BUSINESS being in the finals, but HE'S THAT GOOD. Kobe was part of one of the most deadliest 1,2 punches ever. To even begin to think Lebron couldn't have done the same with Shaq would be comical. Kobe is very good, and will probably get a ring with this team....
Yeah, I think Kobe is the better face to face defender, but he can't send the shots into the stands like James can. Kobe is the better offensive threat, but as far as all the things done on the court across the board, LEBRON does it all. Kobe does it all, but not as much across the board.
how about you cite your sources you dip shit. yeah anyone can say 80% of people say this and that. ur pulling shit out of ur ass.
ok so you admit Kobe is a more "polished" offensive player but you say this like Lebron has better "D". tell me this how many 1st team defensive nominations has James recieved?
so now that we've established kobe is better offensively and that the leauge sees him as one of the best defensive players...Where does this leave Lebron??...DOUCHE.

"i think Kobe is a better face to face defender...Kobe is the better offensive threat...Kobe does it all"
ok now that we have established all of this, let me get to my point
Kobe has been doing it all for 11 years, Lebron 5.
Kobe has Championship experience. Lebron 0
This is why i can hate kobe But respect the mans game.(EARNED)
I cant say the same for James.
James has all the physical ability a bball player could want; he will do great things, but he hasn't (yet). Kobe has conquered all
