  • wohhee!

    Holy shit! i know that!

mine sounded the same... i fixed it with fat.

maybe it works on yours too?

  • I got a new mbp after i reported my problem to apple.

  • theres a litte sound delay..

  • Try to stop the fan with a wooden part on the back. (if there is a hole in the case on the back. Just vor a second!!!) -- Just for to make sure that its really the fan.

Then I would open it. check for parts vibrating the the case and makes noice. - Then maybe some oil will help.

Or, the fan touches against the case or something else.

  • It touched the case. Got a new Mac..

  • Thats why you buy the 13 inch notebooks. They are way much reliable that those 15 and 16 inch ones

  • not bad!

but mine is older than 3 years, so my warranty is expired.

i had a few other problems with my book... motherboard dead, harddrive dead, ram-slot dead... but they never gave me a new mbp.

    damn!

  • Yeah. A chepo fan at a luxury price. I bought it for 80$ (still expensive) and changed it myself. Its so hard but i still did it without braking the compu.

  • It's not debris or dust. The bearings on these fans go out. HP charges a $300 repair + Shipping...

  • yo i got an hp pavilion dv8235nr laptop and it sometimes makes so fan noises like if the fan was touching something inside over and over and its so annoying. if i hardly press the bottom of my laptop where the fan is situated it stops and after a few sec/min it starts doing the same thing also when i sometimes tilt the computer. u got any help of what could it be? a cable touching fan blades? debris?. any help? it sounds like a blender
