  • I have all the WSM on DVD there is no one spoting the log in 1988 and yes it is longer but the 1988 one is at least 12-14'' thick, cos there is only 2 weights on the ends, thay were all carved out of oak and right up to 155kgs there was no weight on them, and if you see the contest you will see he has a real job cleaning the log, take 2 or 3 gos to get it to he's chest no spoters in sight, but once on he's chest he just press it with no legs at all.

  • the log Kazmaier lifted in 1988 wsm was much thicker than that, much harder to clean.

They are actually easier to clean when they are thick :) when they get narrow/Smaller it gets harder :) thats my experience with the technique i have in my logpres :)

  • Savickas

  • Im sorry to say it.. but it will never happen.

    Savickas will allways beat him.

  • we'll see

  • pudzianowski is much better

  • areyou kiding? did you see how easy the big z made this look? pudz is out of the game in my opinion

  • and if you do not belive me tap in on youtube The Legendary Bill Kazmaier look at 1.02 and you will see the log much thicker ,even with the rope on the Fortiissimus one,and Kaz did not need to lift from he's head,he could press from racks 230kgs,and you are right strongman has evolved they all have the equipment to train with now Kaz never had any logs or anything to train with Geoff Capes had the first metal log made in 1983.

  • incorrect this log is much thicker and longer than the 1988 one, i know the one you are talking about saw the video and the WSM 1988, strongman has evolved so much since then, back then two spotters would actually assist with the clean, also resting the log on the head was authorized not anymore.
