Alex Catalan, Clara Pfeiffer, Alyssa Schultz and Hilary Dixon. We are Beloit College students who took the course "Buildings as Teachers" and this project came out of that class. The Center for the Sciences opened at Beloit College in Fall of 2008 and is a LEED certified Green building. This film was first presented on 12/9/08. For more information or to get a full size copy of this movie, contact catalana@beloit.edu. Special thanks for Brock Spencer and Robin Greenler for their help.
By the way, the interviews in the one are much more genuine.

I can't believe psychology is housed in the natural science building. Speaks volumes. We should just stop calling it psychology and rename it neuroscience. What would all the psychoanalysts, counselors, existential and humanist psychologists, etc., say? Who cares? They've all been relegated to second-class citizens in one fell swoop. We don't need communication and connection, we just need prescription psychotropics! I can't wait until I lose my last shred of humanity in a drug cocktail.
