Quit exploiting starving peasants in poor nations, move all those jobs that keep them employed out of those third world countries and move them back the US. We don't mind paying extra money for our clothes.
If they want to increase sales on ladies garments in the United States then they should advertise the product they make and have it be more affordable.
This union propaganda doesn't do a damn thing to increase sales.
I remember watching this as a kid. Kinda sad now, where almost every item you pick up is made in China etc. I still look at labels, but very little consumer goods are made in the USA anymore.
adding my thanks for posting this. I worked for the ILG in Boston in the Chaiken days. I love this song...hokey even then but so moving. And we should point out that the chorus was comprised of ILGWU members, not professional singers!;-) I also loved the print ads/billboards, particularly the series "Nothing suits us like our Union Suits...except our Union ___[dresses, blouses, etc]" Sigh.
Thank you for posting this. I think that this is one of the most memorable commercials that have ever been made. Almost anyone over forty probably could sing along to the song. It was wonderful to see it here again.

Why do they call it International when they only focus on the United States?
