Joe Galloway describes the horrific scene before him, two men dancing in the fire, of a Napalm bombing. He recounts pulling one of the men out of the fire, who dies two days later. I bought my self a lifetime of nightmares and they dont ever go away.

  • Joe -Question.....In the X-Ray it was indicated we won this battle. Did we take the mountain? what was the result when we lost so many men? Did the creator of this bright idea sending in these men in multiple shifts with no back-up or ways to get supplies in, was he demoted and sent to a desk job where he should have been? this is how we lost the war.... that and Johnson's decision not to bomb the tar out of the North with everything we had. These brave guys without leadership - what a pity

  • Thank you, Joe, for all you have done for the Vietnam Veterans that are still suffering in their hearts and their minds. Vietnam was many years ago, and yet, just like yesterday.

  • @MarinesForever123 It really was. And in alot of ways the vietnam war. Showed how cruel war can be.

  • This guy is a hero. I admire him because I have always wanted to be a journalist. He tells the truth about what happened in Ia Drang in November of 1965. Most of all he honors the men who died and deserve that honor.
