Not that great a trick, but he does it well. He does several tricks. You have to work with them constantly or they forget.

Bending my finger is the trigger for this trick, watch for it.

Sun conures can be taught to talk. I like the natural bird sounds better.

  • I just lost my female Sun Conure back in October 2010. :o( This reminds me of her. She didn't do the flip like you Sun does. She did a spin, hanging with her beak from the top bar, with her hanging up and down, she'd spin in a complete circle. My Green Cheeck, flipped like your Sun. I lost him the same day. I had her for 9 years and the GCC 7 years.

  • @daberdo57 I'm so sorry to hear. Loosing both on the same day, wow. . .

I've had Bo for 16, and I know he's pushing 20 from one side or the other. They can grow on you, as you and I both know. Bo's in great shape, and I hope that continues. Good thing he has health care through his employer.

  • how do you teach ur parrot to do triks...PLZ RESPONDE im having trouble for my parret to even get on my fingers nd ive had her for 2 years =(

  • @chuwi24 You need basic training. The trick was taught by holding him on my finger, bending the finger and turning him upside down. It only took 15 minutes until he figured it out..

Everyone likes to hold him and make him go around their finger. He'll do it far anyone.

  • Parakeets is a term for a wide variety of broad-tailed parrots.

  • @EA1088 I believe the definition of parrot has to do with the feet, with the two sets of opposing toes.

You are correct, a parakeet IS a type of parrot. They are very intelligent and can be taught to do a lot of things.

They haven't evolved to the point where they discover they can use their hands yet. Look out when they figure that out. lol

  • such a pretty bird!

  • @iluvabiline I think it's fairer to say that parakeets are parrots. Budgies are commonly called parakeets in the US, I have no idea why.

Parakeets are a species of parrot.

  • @iluvabiline I believe you mean parakeets are parrots. Have you seen Bo's channel? More videos there.
