  • nicely rehearsed. don't get me wrong, i also study martial arts and understand there is a lot for training purposes only. but your opponent will not be so cooperative. and i also understand that if he resists he will be hurt. but when put into a situation where this might be necessary, most of what is shown here simply will not work. there are about 3 or 4 techniques that would resolve almost any of these scenarios. why get so fancy. when the time comes, you might just confuse yourself. : )

  • When you think too much you can be confused for sure:) I think in MA training not all is only about effectiveness and winning, if yes, people should carry the gun; there are other aspects of the art which are also important to practice and those teach us deeper things not fanciness; I do hope you understand this.

    Peace.

  • cont. - understanding and following the principles of non-violence/non-resistance is more important than just effectiveness of some techniques, i think, and that's a part of Yeshua-Do philosophy :)

  • Very good work. So you have a contact with aikido people?

  • with those who are opened for exchange - absolutely; always we can learn from each other.

  • Regards from Poland !

  • Bless you guys :)

  • these technique do work in real life, they just don't look as clean and pretty. I am no one for tradition or forms, to me these are for those who want spiritual connection not abiliy to defend ones self. Any tech. will work if you train it long enough, even hopless, fancy, flashy stuff like spinning high flying kicking. It has nothing to do with your style it is your skill in said style that makes it effective or not.

  • Believe me i understand what he's doing!kokyu nage - he overestimate the power of the "ki " cos he cant do no sutemi waza, no ashi waza, no ne waza. ok may be thats the raison that ai(ki)do is pacific and harmonieuse in thise violent world, some dojo they use it more like a danse, any way no desrespect just my point of view ! i said martial art is tecnhique(fight) and ATTITUDE i write bigger you can read it

  • neomauresque you do not understand much what he is doing, do you? Obviously the way you speak and demand from him to change, to do, or confirm to your rather narrow point of view is a sign you do not have much common with the way of peace.

Martial arts is much more than just technique.

  • Non violence non resistance , why you do martial art then, go write a book or something . try thise ! how do you resist a violance ? i think martial art is about techniques, and attitude so dont get too philosophical ! peace

  • Very good peaceful, harmonious and mindful performance; 5 stars!
