  • Deep Purple...Who knew?!?!? Thought I had heard every obscure Dusty track ever criminally vaulted! Very cool to know of this. Anybody have background on this recording and where it's been?

  • Just can't get enough 'Dusty' ♥♥

  • @movedbythem this was recorded on BBC radio 29 February 1964. Sadly this was among the tracks Dusty performed on radio that were not kept by the BBC. Thankfully she had fans who would put a microphone to the television/radio and record her live performances. These fan bootlegs are all we have left to enjoy of many Dusty performances. Clearly our gratitude to these people is deep and eternal!

  • Yes thank you for this. Many unheard songs are out there or not so often heard songs, but she can sing anything... Any one have any Dusty And Danny LaRue Must have been ITV as adverts between her singing and his guest appearance

  • Rare gem. Lovely album covers. Great thanks for upload this.

Except it wasn't Ritchie's mother..it was his Grandmother.

    Exactomondo.

  • That's why Ritchie's original group ended up named "Deep Purple"?
