No i had to downgrade to vista 32. I have it working great with a mac using elgato software.

I understand this captures HD content but, does it also capture Standard Definition content? i.e. DVD-friendly MPEG2?

Or, does it only capture as H.264?

Will i have to convert every recording back to MPEG2?

Also, are there interlace/de-interlace options? 4:3 and 16:9 input options? Can I keep the input audio as PCM .WAV 16 Bit 48Khz or does this unit convert incoming signal to MP3 & OGG? Thanks :)

This is for H.264. If you want to make DVDs there are better products out there.

dude why is my picture on the preview box is black and white and on the tv it has the normal colors

It will run on vista 64 and win7 64 with updated software and drivers. I am constantly recording onto my win7 rc htpc. Check AVS forums and the happaugue website for more info on this product.
