you change crankshaft every 5000km?
alexini5 6 months ago
@alexini5 HI sorry for super late answer... been busy for some time...
No u dont need to change the crankshaft every 5000km. they recommend that u change the piston every 5000km and that u also check the crankshaft for slack cos of the bearings wear out.. the crankshaft on my bike broke after 14000km cos i never check it for slack... its important that u follow all the things the dealer and the ktm company tells u should do... or else u have to pay big money for ur stupidity.

how often do you rebuild your bike
soildsnake1ak 9 months ago
@soildsnake1ak About once a year.. or after 5000-8000 km. but i just change the piston and the crankshaft 1 time.. and ive ridden 25000km soon with it.. still running great.
