And I go on tracker1312, with my quote "Many people from outside, close relatives or friends or simple followers also came to Montsegur to hear the sermons of the Perfecti. The Perfecti in return went out, either to preach or to give the consolament to the dying and tried to keep alive the faith of the simple believers living in the plain. The soldiers escorted them to the first relays and met them when they returned from these "rounds".

tracker1312, this "crap" are facts. And I quote from historical puplication; -Life on the Pog - Although there were in the castrum a baker, a miller, a tailor, a blacksmith and although the garments made there were sold round about, Montsegur was far from being a village like any other. It was a religious and defensive centre. Over 2 hundred Perfecti lived artificially on the Pog, as well as about hundred men-at-arms, either knights or simple soldiers.

@ceehof123 Actually there may have been children and wives as well, since there was a garrison, which was allowed to leave (with their material possessions even) after swearing they weren't heretics. Where do they get this crap from?
-
@Textynn Are you talking about Montsegur? If so that's patently false. They burned everyone who refused to recant. The garrison was allowed to leave with their material possessions even. Does anyone read anything academic about this or do they just make shit up?
-
@Krshwunk It is a fact that the Inquisition wrote that they were ritualistic murderers. Not that they were. Get your FACTS straight.

Wait a minute. Jesus was phantom. Where did they get this idea? They're correct in the sense that he's piece of fiction.

france more satanic than america. and america has a strong satanic underground because of its religious liberty.
France plus satanique que l'Amérique. et l'Amérique a une forte souterraine sataniques en raison de sa liberté religieuse.
right voland?

@LifeLibertyLove Hi - thanks for your comment - the utter nonsense of the so called 'Christian Religion' is that their alleged founder, Jesus - in all the writings we have about him, expressly stated that there was no need for organized religion and that the 'Kingdom of God' was already within each person. Clearly the Church of Rome is nothing more than a political, mind-control organisation. Definition of a Bishop? One of higher rank than that attained by Jesus Christ!!! Says it all, dunnit.
"We have to ask why the Catholic Church was so desperate to destroy the Cathars..." It really doesn't matter at all what the reason or excuse was - the very FACT of of the massacre - in Christ's name - shows the Catholic Church to be the embodiment of evil.

Thank you Mojosbigstick. You know your history. Their where no children on the "pog" of Montsegur. The cathars didn't regognize the state of marriage. Historians recovered 204 names of men and women who went down to the base of the pog to be burned at the stake. Even some soldiers who protected the cathars during the siege turned to this gnostic, christian believe, knowing what the outcome would be.
