  • i hate receiving my mail opened or not arriving i hate how ppl can be so ghetto sometimes its just like random free samples i sign up for just to see if i will get them and i dont which is a shame ppl steal well i believe in karma so they will get what they deserve thieves should get jail time no matter what if its not urs and u take it thats stealing

  • you know whats sad is when you have expected mail that is important to come only for the mail to be in the hands of a corrupted landlord. every time my dad seems to get something in the mail, it goes missing for days then he hears that she has had the mail and they accuse me for missing mail-- i get all of my mail.

  • Also, it is not true that mail is only stolen at night. Much mail theft happens during the day, when people are away from their houses at work or running errands. Many mail thieves look like your average citizen. They simply open the mailbox and take out the mail, later discarding the junk mail that is of no use to them.

If you dont believe me, search for mail theft on YouTube & checkout homeowners who have caught mail thieves on camera in broad daylight stealing their mail!

  • Mail theft is a huge problem across the country. In reality it is highly underreported b/c people often dont notice when their mail goes missing.

This story warns residents to use a Blue USPS to send mail instead of an unsecured mailbox with the RED flag up... GOOD ADVICE, for sure. However, it overlooks the unsecured INCOMING mail which can provide identity thieves with a treasure trove of sensitive information: acct numbers, preapproved CC offers, checks, bills, even SS statements!

  • glad i moved from that town. no development, no jobs, no future.

  • Good idea to get people aware of the issue now so that doesn't happen to people themselves.
