The Raleigh, North Carolina April 15th Tea Party had about 1000 people according to the local right wing radio. The police office I talked to said 1200.

When Princess Diana died, an English friend of mine called and said that he heard of a memorial at the capital (the very same place). I said I would go with him. The very same place and there were about 1/2 to 2/3 the number of people for that ad hoc memorial than there were at this much advertised and bally hooed event.
