PLAYLIST looks at the dynamic world of Indian fusion, visiting three very different acts from around the world who are all drawing inspiration from this musically rich country: Vancouver-based Delhi 2 Dublin; a group of five musicians mashing up electronica and world music, with heavy emphasis on the Bhangra, Celtic and dub flavours; Talvin Singh, known as the father of modern Asian electronica music, and highly celebrated tabla player; and Indian-Anglo fusion in the music of Shahin Badar, who has collaborated with A.R. Rahman, the Prodigy and more.
