as for racism you live in a pretty homogenous country. here in america blacks have certain stereotypes that are easy to strawman, furthermore they are the major source of crime in our country AND they have huge crime rates compared to their general population
however thats no excuse for prejudice and more a result of the system that we helped to put them in. whatever the case i can attest to the power of indoctrinating youth with racism and how hard it is to break

Some beliefs are choices, actually. If a belief is founded upon faith, for example, one must "choose" to believe it. So, for religious folk, it often is a choice, and they then conclude that all beliefs (including that a theory is good science) is a "choice" the same as theirs.
