Makaimura Gaiden - Extra Stage 2

Second extra stage of Makaimura Gaiden, the gameboy version of Red Arremer II (AKA Gargoyle's Quest II).

Now I finally know what the power up prize for this stage is: Astral Projection.
Press select in a stage and Firebrand's soul will leave his physical body to do reconnaissance. Lasts 5 seconds.

I've transcribed the text:

"レッド アリーマーは ゆうたい りだつが できるようにたった"

Couldn't make much sense of it; "Yuutai Ridatsu" (ゆうたい りだつ) apparently means something like "Astral Projection" by looking up the entry on this game in Japanese sites, and apparently it's something like looking up the map without moving when you press Select on the world map.

@acidocinza Confirmed just now: It lets you leave your body for 5 seconds in a stage to explore the area as a spirit. You can fly freely during this time but after your time's up, you'll be forcibly pulled back into your body. Looks pretty cool in action.

Si. Básicamente es un port de Gargoyle's Quest II (NES) con un par de extras. Es bastante fiel a la versión de NES, aunque la física del juego varía un poco (por ejemplo haciendo lentos a jefes que en NES eran rapidísimos) para evitar el ghosting (la imagen con estela de la pantalla de gb).

que excelente stage, se nota mucho la dificultad con respecto a los normales y eso que son opcionales, una lastima que GQ2 de gameboy

no haya salido de japon :(
