a bad era

These and the slightly older intros with the ringed background and the zooming WB shield were my favourites.

@CantHoldDownLeeFan13 Maybe it should've been called 'Eerie Melodies'

@KingYakko: Here's the thing, the Looney Tunes of the mid 60s weren't actually produced by Warner Bros. Their animation studio closed down and the Looney Tunes were outsourced to DePatie-Freeleng Enterprises (the same company that did The Pink Panther and a lot of the Dr. Seuss TV specials) who used the old studio as a base, and the cartoons were only DISTRIBUTED by Warner Bros.

@btz2005 ME TOO!!!

FAIL
I liked all the intros before this one, This one looks lazy, horrid, and the music sound scary.

The reason titles look the way they do are for two reasons; because modernist design was fashionable in the 1960's, and because it was more efficient to draw simpler shapes, for both time and money concerns.

@marksoutof10 i know what you mean, i used to watch tom and jerry in the 40s and 50s version but when it got to the 60s version it looked like childrens drawings
When I was a kid I used to think the music to these intros were creepy!
