We lived there for 6 years & rehearsed and wrote most of the original material that formed our first albums at 69 Darling Street Glebe, NSW Australia. They were the best of times for us because we were totally united in our struggles for success as a band.

This song scored me lead singer gig in a band in 1988. I'd been singing it for months - jumping around my parent's lounge room screaming the lyrics out. One night I had to pick my sister up from a dance. When I arrived she grabbed me and pulled me up on stage - the band had perfectly mastered this song except they had no lead singer. She said "YOU HAVE TO SING THINGS SONG WITH THEM". Naturally I agreed and thus began my career with a band called "The Ingrown Toenails!". Ah, 80s rock!
