If you're coming from Windows coding (especially if you are used to the excellent Visual Studio - and no, I am by no means a Microsoft fanboy) - Xcode and Mac programming in general may seem like the weirdest thing you've ever come across... Compared to MSDN, it is REALLY annoying when it comes to reading Apple's documentation. There's always lots of undocumented and not too obvious stuff hard to figure out. If you are patient, maybe you'll find it attractive some day. I'm still indifferent.

XCode is very wierd Visual basic is much better as u can see what your building there is a drag and drop feature! VB beats XCode by 200x if u ask me.

@Bambofy1 To me, Xcode just seems more complex and weird. I have been using vidual studio on windows for a while and i thought it would be neat to program for mac too. Xcode is DIFFERENT

Hi there.. Curious about the absence of the MainWindow.xib ... I'm a beginner and don't know how to get around this. Fishy15 has done a pretty good tutorial here in YouTube, but he doesn't explain how to create the Window outlet for the AppDelegate. Someone suggested this is now done using storyboards. Maybe you could cover this?
