Just curious, how do you know Skandar isn't a Christian?

I agree, Glumpuddle discussing faith. Thank you Bro GP. I like the smiling hand too. Made me smile.

Once again, superb insight to C.S. Lewis and his writing. Thank you so very much.

hmmm... oh yea! she is, but i know that skandar isn't... and that kinda concerns me because character is the one thats always getting introuble and getting forgiven my aslan and the spiritual aspect.
Is that a broken screen door blowing in the background?
Hahah, I'm easily distracted...

Yes, haha. In the spirit of getting out and looking at the "big picture" instead of just the details, I decided to record this video outside (well, on the porch).

Good analysis. Those three points are indeed the heart of the book, but the heart of the series is the characters. So the fact that they appear to be messing up the characters of Susan and Caspian will annoy me, even if they get these themes right.

The global warming will annoy me becasuse it messes with the idea of the myth becoming fact. Susan is a figure out of myth and legend, and you would not look at a mythical figure as a potential love interest. It takes away from Caspian's awe of Susan and the other Pevensies.
This could very easily detract from that idea. That's why I'm so worried about it. That's not just a little detail, because it's an essential theme they're messing up.

Another fantastic analysis Glum. I have to admit, I have yet to read the entire series. I know, shame on me. I did read PC though, and I couldn't help wondering if it is an biblical allegory of our prophetical future of the beginning of the tribulation; when the real believers were forced into hiding for a period of time. I could be way off. I can't really say for sure because I didn't read the rest of the series. I am reading in publication order, so I'll be reading VOTDT next. Your thoughts?

No, I really don't think so. There are end times elements in The Last Battle though.
