Very good, in my case, the closest big city from my area is Montreal. Unfortunately, I don't have access to this kind of service. However, I'd like to ask a question: I'm trying to get myself off the grid (electricity wise) and I was wondering if there was a way for me to do my own canning without the use of electricity? Thank you in advance! Nat

@QueenNatulcien Yes you can get a manuel canner but they are expensive unless you go in with other people. I will do a video soon on the one our group has purchased.

so you bring the product you want to can to the cannary or can you buy products their such as wheat, oatmeal, tomatoes etc?

@conz2009 No you buy them there. They dont want you to bring food in because it might  have bugs and you spread them to there cannary.

And I'm wondering , are they just prohibiting non members from canning or are we also prohibited from buying as well. I guess I'll just have to call and see for myself :o)

@yorkvillerob I dont know that answer it depends on your cannary. Call and find out it will not hurt.

@tripwire1000 You can. You cant bring anything to the cannary to can but some cannarys have a smaller canner you can take home and you buy all the cans and lids from them so you can can anything you can fit in the can.

I have gone too local church's to try to get them to prepare, many of them, they mostly say, trust God, or it will work out.. also, I went the only church I knew was "preparing" its people, they would not alow me to share thier manuel canner... anyone selling one?
