Salam bro. I understand your anger. And indeed what the leaders of the Arab tribes did was wrong. But the Ottoman Caliphate was going to die either way. It has rotted from the inside from the corruption. Furthermore, that doesn't excuse what Turkey has become today. It has a secular regime. And it's a weird type of secularism...an anti-Islam one. May Allah help us all.

Wa Alikum Asalam brother.

I don't think there is Anti-Turkism, now. It's now obvious that the leaders of the Arab tribes were promised to be great leaders of their own countries. So greed made them accept.

But you might ask, then why did the normal Arabs follow on this betrayal? Well from what I read, the Ottoman Turks treated the Arabs as second class citizens. That might be why.

But if all Muslims return to Islam-The Qur'an and the Sunnah-then all our problems would be solved.

I agree 100% brother! If the Arabs didn't stab us (the rest of the Muslim ummah) in the back, then Khalifah would probably still be here. The betrayed the whole ummah for the sake of nationalism! And they failed even to get what they betrayed the Sultan for. I know that we are all brothers but it's hard for me to forgive the Arabs for this shameful crime. They ruined it for all of us, now we as Muslims don't have a Khalif or an Islamic State where we all can go to live.

@abuhannah07 I disagree. The Ottoman Empire had really fallen much before that. It was more or less destroyed by the fact that they entered WWI, and weren't technologically as competitive as the West.

Today they want to rip us apart, into smaller piece,s like they've did with the Ottoman hilafet too. But like you've said, we're all muslims and we've to stay together. If WE don't do, the kuffars will do it for US ;)... and then we get pictures of Iraq, with the Sunni-Shia bombings and Afghanistan.

You can't call me a nationalist. Nationalism is a French ideology and I'm agianst it too. But if you think it's nationalism to defend the number one general, who had beaten up all the kuffars, and to defend a flag which is standing for the blood shed for Islam, I'm a badass nationalist.

@Tcete1923 You are nothing but a Muslim who lives in Turkey. The whole world belongs to Allah and as followers of Allah's Prophet (pbuh) we are brothers regardless of where we live. I was born in Hind and around 30 years before i was born British broke the hold of Mughal Empire and while France, England, Spain and Portugal were feasting on Islamic Empire of Hind, other Muslims were busy being Turks or Arabs. Nationalism is POISON . Remove it and we will succeed Inshaallah.
