  • That only took two or three hours to blast. At that time, we were charging $150.00 per hour and now were at $160.00 per hour.

  • @busterblastereast nice wrok on the protection of you and the car ...

  • Did you read the caption? As noted, always wear your PPE! Mike had a 25 mph wind behind him and he was just playing as I shot this. He suited up for the rest of the project. As for the car, it's baking soda and no further protection was needed for this particular shell of a car. @AweSomo84

  • @busterblastereast How about the glass/windows

  • Soda blast = no damage to glass, chrome or rubber parts! No need to disassemble if you don't want or need to. @AweSomo84

  • I've found it to be a waste of resources to just take the outer paint off, when the window channels are not touched, and other areas that rust gets to, granted this is a Corvette, but on steel bodied cars if you're spending a couple of grand on a strip, do it right, the entire thing, inside, outside, underneath it etc.

  • We work for the customer and do what they request - it's their money. We will strip a single fender or hood all the way up to a completely dissembled vehicle on a rotisserie. The red Corvette is just one of hundreds of vehicles and projects that we have stripped or cleaned since 2004. Search Chesapeake Soda Clean on the web for tons of soda blast photos. @mr954

  • @busterblastereast So the paint goes of but no scratches to the glass. Then it surely is the best wat to go.

    Take care,

    Erik

  • @busterblastereast so damage to a fiberglass body is a concern? Is that why he holds the gun so far away from it?

  • how much was it the work for the corvette?
