Hello everyone,This is a quick jam I did with my brand new KORG KRONOS 61!
An awesome instrument.I jammed some riffs you may recognize:
-The River Flows In You
-Mr.Crowley
-Breaking the Silence
-Falling To Pieces
-Breaking The Law
-Athenian Light
and a cool shredding for the end :-)

All sounds are recorded directly in my DAW,in 48kHz/24-Bit Resolution, with NO PROCESSING,as they are performed directly form my KRONOS.
Enjoy!

  • what setting did you use in the mix with that Japanese Dark preset?

  • @chekua1 nope, only the Japanese Grand preset with velocity sensitivity 4 of 8.

  • 3:10 is not "Milestone"? I think that Athenian Light is the previous one in the album . I'm wrong?

  • @008KEYS Yes,i was intended to play Athenian Light, then switched to this one,but my mind got stuck in the initial choice! Thanks for commenting about it!

  • @shep4 Not really. The new Motif XF has Karma as well. Karma is not a Korg exclusive technology. Stephen Kay is the creator and owner of Karma and can license the technology to any company that pays him.

  • this voice sounds like Yamaha piano, meaning its really sounds like a japanese grand.

  • I am looking to replace my equipment. In the process, I have been looking @ the Jupiter 88, the Yamaha workstation. I have been sold also on the minimoog voyager.

However, after hearing these demos. I have decided to take another real good look into the Kronos. I may have to reconsider the lineup I go with!

  • The Nightrager cover:

  • Nothing particularly mind blowing here - piano sounds are still medicore, at best. The only thing that's setting Korg apart from the likes of Roland, Yamaha etc. is Karma.

  • Korg Karma on top.

  • vai sabrinaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Love that Noemon Lead

  • @chekua1 Overated digital keyboard th eonly good sounds come form the poly 6 which you can but digital software for around 4 $50.00 previous korg keybpards were the best in teh world its a shame korg has lost its reputation with a lot of keyboard players
