Handy Andy was an electronics and appliance store chain in the Sacramento area which went out of business around the 2nd half of the 1980s. Their store on Fulton Ave, which appears to be where this commercial was shot, later became a thrift store where I found many of my treasures, but that has since moved on as well.
@TJL31SJ Very close. My father worked for HA from 1974 thru January 1992, which is when they finally went out of business after 40+ years.

Mr. Handy Andy- Kieth Anderson was my grampa. I thought maybe they would have more tv commericals. Lois Price was a spokeperson for Handy Andy commericals. It is really nice that my grampa-Mr. Handy Anderson- is still remembered-Thank you! -peace

I was sanding down paint on my '62 VW bus last night to prep it for a new paint job, and uncovered a logo for Handy Andy... Appliance.... Home of BLUE.... with the little mascot guy. I'm trying to find out anything I can about this company if anyone knows anything. Specifically, I'm interested in finding something with a good quality picture of the logos and such. If there are any photos of delivery vans, that would be primo.
