Palio Siena August 2009, Civetta is the Winner

http://thriftytuscany.com The Palio of August 2009 in Siena, a very suffered race, a long wait before the actual run. Many the reasons..someone had to be in a different position? Someone was paid not to start the race when all 9 were in position? Nobody knows of course, but the contrada that was given as the most probable winner actually won, the contrada of Civetta. Here just the actual race, without the one hour wait (which is amazing only if you live the experience from the Piazza del Campo, not from the Internet or your home TV).

lo stavo guardando ieri su RAI UNO e poi come al solito lo hanno mandato su RAI TRE, visto che su RAI DUE c'era lo sport... e RAI TRE non lo prendiamo in Svizzera, quindi ogni anno me lo perdo... che RABBIA...

una vergogna che non possano lasciare un evento così sul canale principale, cosìcché anche gli italiani all'estero lo possano vedere...
