  • I burn rsx's frequently, and I need an oil change.

rolling at sixty puts the 1.8T at a dis-advantage (it's in the 0-60 that we make the best use of engine power)

third gear is just too damn long.

  • i like this guy, all too true, bottom ends are much better but i found that 80 punches are decent as well, a lot more boost.

  • more tq is better. for 500 bucks u chip the gti and make 40-50hp on top of stock and even more tq. what do you get with the type s for 500 bucks? a intake and cheap ass exhaust that doesn't give any hp. k20s boosted are great but until then parts are expensive and don't make much power because well its honda.

  • VW drivers shouldn't call RSX's shitty

  • looks like you need to upgrade to the 2.0T GTI they will burn RSX type s all day

  • hahaha do you wanna try my stage 3 gti 430 hp so you can see what happen with your piece of shit rsx??? lol

  • Here lets make it a little more simple for you, regardless of what your buddy makes for power.

    K20 Advantages:

    Displacement

    Compression

    Head/intake manifold flow

    8200 RPM rev limit

Not only will the added compression make a huge difference, so will the extra air that will enter the engine due to less of a restriction at the ports, as well the added displacement will simply add more power as well, and the k20's ability to make POWER THROUGH REVS will add even more power.

  • Do you realise that a turbo on a k20, pushing the same cfms into it as its pushing into the 1.8 will make EASILY 60+whp, period. There is no arguing this, if you put a k04 on a k20 with the same boost it will make well over 60whp more than the 1.8t with a k04. The k20r head flows over 300cfms on the intake side, you cannot argue that head/intake manifold flow doesnt directly contribute greatly to an engines power building capabilities, because it CLEARLY does.

  • do you even know what a K04 is? my buddy's got one and hes pushing 260 to the Wheels on low boost. on high boost hes been able to push close to 350HP and this is on a 1.8T. imagine putting it on a 2.0T no RSX will have a chance guy. not to mention u guys get half the tq we get lol

  • No, it cannot. You dont even understand how much more power a k20 will make with the same sized turbo and the same ammount of boost, its not even close. Not even remotely close the difference is near 100whp.

  • You like extra weight? Next time don't run someone with 3 people in your car. lol

  • K04 in the GTI can easily take you
