Asked to defend his accusations toward Newt Gingrich for draft-dodging, presidential contender Ron Paul--who opposes drafts and thinks Vietnam was mistake--takes down Newt's excuse for not serving in Vietnam.
Dr. Paul is the only presidential candidate besides Gov. Rick Perry in this election cycle who served in the United States Armed Forces. He was an officer and medical doctor in the US Air Force.
He is also the largest recipient of donations from active military voters. His donations from service members eclipse the military donations to all his Republican rivals and President Obama combined,

I don't know why Newt says "I never asked for a deferment, I had a wife and child..." Married with children did not disqualify people from being drafted; not me, not Ron Paul, not many many men with whom I served. I generally like the things that Newt says.....I just don't like the things that Newt does.

@JP4LifeProductions Watch more videos of Ron Paul. If that doesn't help... think about it this way - If you want someone other than Obama for the next term then you have to vote for Ron Paul (or Mitt aka Two Face who keeps changing his views) -> Other candidates don't stand a chance!
