@RandomLevitation I just want fight fans to know, I am no looney here, but Buster, WHEN FOCUSED...could rumble, I mean he could fight...HOF, no, Tyson will be remembered for facing really everybody except Riddick Bowe, cuz he was locked up then bowe was locked up. Buster tho, could have been something but just flat quit after beating Tyson, got his pay day against Holyfield and done. However, if you didnt fear Tyson, your chances of beating him went up 35%...Peace!

@RandomLevitation Records dont mean that much, beyond longevity in the sport. The truth is Buster had a mountain of talent but it some circles was considered inconsistent and even lazy at times. Tyson was a PHYSICAL specimen that started late boxing and earned a mystique that helped him when many fights. Thats like saying Rocky M was the best of all time because of his record. Buster is not hof, due to body of work, but was a good fighter. Tyson tho, is HOF due body of work..the end!

luck win my ass...he knuckled up with tyson like man and spanked dat ass...Buster was a good fighter but was inconsistent and had good wins against others of the golden grail era. yeah tyson made some excuses about training and luck...that was not luck..he stood in his face and chest and beat his ass pushing tyson back giving him no momentum at all and stayed on top of him. many fighters tried to keep him outside and run around while he stalk you but the key to beating him was stay in his chest.

Buster Douglas won this fight for one simple reason: he wasn't afraid of Mike Tyson. Everyone else was already beat before they got in the ring. When Douglas knocked him out, like any true bully, he couldn't handle it. Before the Douglas fight, 37-0. Including the Buster Douglas fight, he lost eight of his last 21 matches. It's all because Douglas took away the mystique.
