The Poem at the end is by a wonderful writer/poet in Athens named Janet Lombard. The song I wrote and recorded back in 2003 and then Button Dave added to it with his pal Dave at Zen Ranch Recording up near Seattle.

  • heck with the way you paint i would have chopped all your stuff down to fit in a old breifcase and dropped it off at thrif store and watch what happens,

  • @chickengeorge1236 it would have ended up on Ebay in a half assed listing, you know what I'm talking about...

  • anther thing is you could advertise to one of your collectors , can you store all this stuff for me , i bet some rich person would do it,one of your collectors would, you kids drawings one of your fans would have loved to get that, maybe not now but 40 years from now,

  • @chickengeorge1236 it just stuff I dont want to show I guess...maybe it is large scale canvas, but looking at it now, it was all study, sketches...working through things, what I thought was complete was just larval stage stuff...another video i can see about this, more video thinking out loud

  • you know, if i had your problem of moving and i had to carry everything i own , i don't know if i would have collected so much, i know now if i had to move i would just rent a retail space ,antiqu both and price everything and see what happens

  • @chickengeorge1236 I didnt really plan this, making art just happens, and the period between making the art and selling it was vast, so there was a period, a backstock that became sentimental...and dated, so it is at the point now where it is what it is, nothing I want to show, important yes, but too much babble to spend anytime with,

  • nice song!

  • @StevenChandlerArtist I agree with the your concept of change. It's hard to invest time and energy on anything and then destroy or change the thing. The good news is that the other side is always different and usually better in terms of personal growth.

  • @Judadiah my Dad yard saled some of my things too, my Indian Mini Bike while I was away visiting relatives with my Mother....AN INDIAN MINI BIKE! he probably sold it for 20 bucks too...

  • @rylandheights it is so true how the eye and judgement changes.I wouldn't imagine destroying anything a few years ago. I use to hear of artist doing it, all my old professors did, now here I am.....but, is it that, or is it 17 moves in 16 years? I do feel lighter.

  • All my artwork I did as a kid... piles of comic books disappeared. I miss those. I couldn't wait to burn my college art. The beard gives you a nice winter look! Funny how perceptions change as we change. You've got your new space set up nicely!

  • well... at least you documented it. This reminds me of a time when I was little. If you didn't keep your room clean, and all your favorite times in orderly fashion, then at some point you would come in from hanging with the Father to find that the Mother (and often the Grandmother) had come in and cleaned your room for you... Fear would strike, as you discovered that many of your eldest toys, and most worn and cherished toys were smoldering in the trash fires of doom, as they had sifted them, 4u

  • Things need to run lean and at top efficiency. That way, 100+% of energy is cleanly transferred to the production of art.

    101.
